MISSION STATEMENT:
Revive Our American Republic (ROAR) is a non-profit organization committed to influencing common sense policy and holding our elected
officials accountable to the United States Constitution.
WHAT WE DO:
*Educate members with a "Policy over Party" approach through meetings and newsletters*Research candidates and summarize their positions on key issues and include voting records of elected officials*Monitor proposed legislation at the state and national level*State ROAR's position on current and proposed legislation*Provide form letters to voice opinions to state and national representatives*Participate in rallies as a unified group of responsible Americans*Provide contact information for elected officials and representativesROAR is a Colorado based non-profit organization striving to have a positive effect at the local, state, and national level with a "policy over party" approach. ROAR does not limit membership to Colorado residents. We encourage like-minded, concerned citizens to join our efforts. Even though we will be focused on state issues and upcoming candidates' credentials within the next year; our ultimate goal of common sense and responsible government in 2012 affects every American! We are seeking to "Revive Our American Republic!"

ROAR'S POSITION:
These issues are important to the future of our great country and life-altering to our future generations. In order to best promote these ideals, ROAR is committed to supporting local and state representatives who will revive common sense government and make an impact in 2010, and ultimately affect positive changes nationally in 2012. We will support/promote legislation and state and local candidates that uphold 1) the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and 2) take a stance in conjunction with our philosophies.
I. ECONOMY
-Incentivize (1) entrepreneurs to create new businesses and (2) small business to expand.
Approximately 50% of private sector jobs are with small businesses whose tax burden is
significant enough without being increased to just over 50%. Government should not
burden businesses with meaningless taxes (lease tax, head tax, healthcare tax, etc).
-America’s corporate tax rates should be competitive to other countries to incentivize
corporations to operate in America.
-Tax all income fairly and hold representatives accountable for paying taxes just as other
citizens are required to do and limit their benefits.
-Trim the fat in all levels of government agencies.
-Congressional bills need to be passed on their own merit and not be encumbered with
earmarks.

II. ENERGY
-Allow corporations to develop and efficiently produce all means of energy to enable our
nation to become less dependent on oil from countries who pose a threat to America in
any way.
-Promote drilling oil and natural gas in the United States, construct nuclear power plants,
and continue with wind and solar power.
-Common sense policies over extreme environmental agendas.
-Promote the research & development of other effective alternative energy sources.
-Incentivize corporations to build state of the art oil refineries and clean coal plants.
RESPONSIBLE ENERGY PRODUCTION WITH REASONABLE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
III. IMMIGRATION
-Enforce the existing immigration laws regarding illegal aliens and seek to reverse
current laws that are bankrupting our state and country.
-Create and enforce laws that impose severe penalties (deportation) to illegal
aliens who commit crimes in America.
-Eliminate the “anchor baby” American citizenship status.
-Eliminate the requirement for non-English language in our government,
businesses and schools.

IV. NATIONAL SECURITY
-Seek to develop, implement and fully fund military programs and defense
systems to protect and ensure America’s safety and strength.
-Seek to reverse current laws that have eroded the Second Amendment and
protect the right for law abiding Americans to bear arms.
